Our climate change mitigation strategy has created the basis for a long-term sustainable advantage.

To achieve carbon-neutral status in our development of the stunning Sabban Towers on The Pearl, we took a strategic approach. First, we measured CO2 emissions caused by the use of energy, shipment of construction material and other related construction works.

Secondly,.by implementing value-added engineering processes, we reduced our carbon emissions by 14.4 percent *

Lastly, we engaged in several key initiatives, investing QR 3.5 million into various carbon-offset projects across the globe.

*SPI commissed The CarbonNeutral Company (TCNC) in 2006 to measure the carbon emissions resulting from the construction of Sabban Towers. The assessment indicated an estimate of 75,900 tonnes of carbon emissions.
